CDC loosens COVID-19 guidelines as families prepare for back to school

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relaxed its COVID-19 guidelines Thursday, attempting to reduce the pandemic’s impact on workplaces, schools and businesses.

The guidelines say you no longer need to self-isolate if you have been exposed to COVID-19, and that you can remain at school or work wearing a high-quality mask for 10 days. You should still test on day five.
