State of the 2024 US Presidential Race and global effects in Canada and Latin America

On October 16, Dentons’ Global Public Policy and Regulation team hosted the latest session of our Road to November webinar series. As we approach the final weeks of this historic election, our esteemed speakers shared their perspectives on how the outcomes of the US elections could shape the future of the Americas.

The session was moderated by Andrea Johnson, Global Co-Head of Private Equity, who facilitated an insightful discussion among the panelists. The session discussed the significant impact of the US elections on the political, economic, and social landscapes across Canada and Latin America, featuring political leaders with extensive experience:

  • Conor Beakey, Head of Americas Country Risk for Fitch Solutions
  • Congressman Joe Crowley, Senior Policy Director
  • Ambassador Gordon Giffin, Partner
  • Congressman Jeff Denham, Senior Policy Director
  • The Hon. James Moore, Senior Business Advisor
  • Pedro Muñoz, Partner
