With the General Assembly summer recess swiftly approaching and numerous legislative priorities competing for limited time, the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania reiterated a plea to get clean pre-canvassing and mail-in ballot deadline legislation passed.
During a press call Tuesday, leaders from the CCAP expressed their disappointment that the legislature has yet to pursue changes to the amount of time election officials have to prepare ballots for counting and the deadlines for voters to return their ballots to election offices.
