Gov. Tom Wolf vows to protect Pennsylvanians’ voting rights, says he will veto rollbacks to mail-in and ID rules

With voting rights legislation taking center stage at the federal and state levels, Gov. Tom Wolf on Wednesday addressed possible changes to Pennsylvania’s laws and vowed to veto any bill that limited voting access.

“Today, I reaffirm my commitment to the people of this commonwealth that I will always uphold our democracy,” he said at a news conference. “I will stand up for your freedom to vote, and I will not allow bad actors to put up barriers to voting.”
