Executive Order | Regulating Imports with a Reciprocal Tariff to Rectify Trade Practices that Contribute to Large and Persistent Annual United States Goods Trade Deficits
Establishes a new global tariff policy that imposes an additional 10% ad valorem duty on most imports with additional levies for specific countries. The EO’s stated aims are “to rebalance trade, with implementation guidelines, exemptions and modification authority outlined for ongoing enforcement and adjustments.”
